What Size Bin Do I Need?

How Long Can I Have The Skip For?

7 days is our standard hire period.

If you need your skip longer, you are welcome to extend. Extensions are charged at $44 per week. If you only extend for a few days, you will only be charged for the days you require the bin for.

Do You Deliver Skip Bins Outside of Business Hours?

Yes. We can drop off or collect over the weekend or at night if business hours are not suitable.

Do I Need To Be Home For Drop Off And Pick Up Of The Skip Bin?

No-one needs to be home during delivery or collection if you have made prior arrangements for payment. We ask that any dogs on the premises be restrained. Our team will take care of the rest!

What Rubbish Can I Put in the Skip Bins?

• Domestic and residential items.
E.g., White goods, household appliances, furniture, mattresses, and general household waste.

Office equipment, furniture, and shop fittings.
E.g., Desks, benches, display and filing cabinets, shop fittings. Electronic devices, laptops and desktop computers.

• Demolition waste.
E.g., Concrete, bricks, tiles, fences, wire, clay, dirt, carpet, and demolished walls.

• Green waste.
E.g., Tree, plant and lawn clippings, small tree trunks and branches, bark, mulch, stones, and rocks.

What is NOT Allowed in Your Skip Bins? Types of Hazardous Waste

Things that you CANNOT put in the skip bins are:

• Food waste.
• Liquid Waste (including paint and oil).
• Hazardous waste (including Asbestos).
• Large tree trunks (small trunks and branches are fine).

Examples of hazardous waste include:

Asbestos, gas bottles, poisons, chemicals, batteries, tyres, fibreglass, insulation, and radioactive material and substances.

How Do I Dispose of Tyres, Rubber and Asbestos?

Tyres and Rubber:
Special equipment is needed to recycle tyres(*1). As a result, we charge a small additional fee for taking your tyres and rubber.

Asbestos:
Due to the serious health risks of asbestos, it must be disposed of carefully and lawfully(*2). As we are not licensed to dispose of asbestos, unfortunately we cannot accept it in our skip bins.

How Do I Dispose of Tyres, Rubber and Asbestos?

According to NSW law, waste must be classified correctly by those who generated the waste(*3). To make this easier for our customers, we offer a range of bin types.

Types of Rubbish

• General household waste.
• Concrete, bricks, and tiles. We do not have restrictions on the weight of bricks, dirt, or concrete.
• Clay, dirt, and sand.
• Green waste (excluding large tree trunks).

We are dedicated to best practices in resource and recycling management. Our Wetherill Park transfer station recycles approximately 80% of the products we collect. Some are converted into recycled products including:

• Gravel (road base).
• Aggregate in a range of sizes.

Suitable lighter products that remain are converted into alternative fuel for concrete kilns in Australia and Asia by Cleanaway/Resource Co.
