Recycled Brick and Concrete (20ml to 70ml)

20ml Road Base (Sub-base Under Concrete Slabs)

The clean rock materials we recycle are crushed to 20ml pieces. This is the perfect size for use as road base or sub-base under concrete slabs. Being such a versatile material, it can also be used as a sub-base under outdoor paved areas, on driveways, and much more(*1,2).

20ml – 40ml Aggregate (Drainage for Retaining Walls)

The concrete, bricks, and other clean fill we screen and recycle are crushed into 20ml – 40ml aggregate. It is a high-quality aggregate that drains well. It is often used as drainage for retaining walls, garden mulch, pathway features and other landscaping projects where road base gravel is too small(*3).

40ml – 70ml Aggregate (Drainage and Building Site Cross Overs)

This larger-sized aggregate is an ideal product for cross over driveways on building sites and as a backfill for retaining walls. It can also be used in the same way in domestic settings. As with all our aggregate, the recycled materials are screened and crushed to size.

Concrete Interlocking Blocks (Stronger Than Cinder Blocks)

The strength and aesthetics of these concrete blocks make them ideal for landscaping projects and building fire-proof storage bays. They are made using state-of-the-art equipment and high quality recycled masonry materials.

These interlocking blocks have male and female studs and recesses which allow them to connect seamlessly. They are stronger and can withstand much greater pressure than cinder blocks because they do not have hollow cores(*6). They are also made of heavier, more durable media than cinder blocks.

• Increased strength.
• Fire-proof.
• Clean lines – aesthetic appeal.

What Would Happen If Clean Fill Was Not Recycled?

Bricks can last up to 650 years(*4)

Clean fill that is not recycled is disposed of in landfill where it can sit for hundreds of years before breaking down. By recycling materials such as concrete and bricks, we can repurpose and re-use materials that still have many years of use left.

In 2018-2019, Australia generated 22.9 million tonnes of masonry materials(*5).

Through recycling, we are preventing unnecessary waste from going directly to landfill where it will take hundreds of years to break down. It is also often cheaper than virgin materials so it is a great option for construction and DIY budgets.
